Not Trick or Treating? Let’s Host A Dinner Party(Pumpkin Style)

Halloween plans? If you don’t have little kiddos, who are begging to trick or treat, not feeling the Halloween bar scene, host a festive Halloween gathering at your own home! There’s a lot you can do with pumpkins, trust us. Invite your friends over for a pumpkin dinner party, and host at home with Savorly.

The Decor

While you might not have the time or space to turn your home into a spooky haunted house, there are still little ways you can “fall’ify” your space.

Not a fan of the traditional orange pumpkin aesthetic? Check out this easy DIY by Yvonne from StoneGable. Get creative with your friends and craft your own decorative pumpkins to fit your own home style.

Curate a floral arrangement with dried flowers. Dried flowers look great in every season, but their muted colors are especially beautiful in a fall setting.

The Menu

The most important part of any gathering is arguably the food, of course. Here are some easy, creative, and on-theme recipes to take your pumpkin party to a whole new level.

Savorly Mini Pies — For appetizers pop in the oven our Mini Pies for a savory start.

  • Preheat the oven to 390°F
  • Cut half a butternut squash into little cubes and toss it in olive oil with salt and pepper.

  • In a bowl, toss some arugula with half an avocado (sliced), crumbled feta, and some toasted pine nuts.
  • Add the butternut squash and dress the salad with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds — the perfect fall snack.
